What a fun and action-packed evening we had out on the water in Morristown! I was guiding Josy Dumser on a 4-hour Bowfishing Party Boat trip with Days In The Wild, and despite being her first time bowfishing, she absolutely crushed it. February can be a prime time for carp and other rough fish in the Phoenix area, and we had clear conditions throughout the day, which made for some great visibility as we drifted the lake.

As soon as we got the bows rigged up and started scanning the shallows, Josy was dialed in. She picked up the technique quickly, and it wasn't long before she was putting some solid Common Carp in the boat. We were really able to take advantage of the clear water, and she had a great eye for spotting the fish cruising the banks. In between shots, we had a great time chatting about her first bowfishing experience and why she was interested in trying it out. She's a quick learner, and I could tell she was really getting into the thrill of the hunt.

The bite stayed strong throughout the trip, and by the time we called it a day, Josy had built up an impressive pile of Carp. She was beaming the whole time, excited about the chance to try something new and put some fish on the deck.
